Book Fund Raiser

Corral of Comfort will be hosting a Book Sale on June 1, 2013 in Palmdale, Ca. (exact location TBA.) All proceeds will applied to feed and medical expenses for our rescue horses. To volunteer or to donate books, please contact Sandra Venables at corralofcomfort@gmail.com or Ph: (661) 361-9188.

Corral of Comfort is looking to increase public awareness and expand.

We need your show of support and assistance to make this all happen. Seeking a minimum of 7 acres plus, all offers are put into consideration. Were asking for your help because the horses in need have increased since our economy has taken a toll, so many horses have suffered and sent to the pound Lancaster is full and its very sad.

Won't you either help with a donation even volunteer or spread the word. Any assistance is needed to help these gentle giants. Become involved and help make a difference. We are asking 500,000 people to make a donation of $5.00, this will help us be able to relocate. Yes we have a license Realtor working with us along with an escrow office that is holding our funds until we find the perfect place.

Our areas of choice is Gilroy, Santa Barbra, Carmel, Ojai, Venture County, Reno. Northern California.

We can't afford to be picky but we also have to be in an area where we have the community support. Please help us help them. Land donations are welcome.

Please feel free to contact Brandy at Corral of Comfort Horse Rescue Inc. for further information. (661) 361-9188

We at Corral of Comfort Horse Rescue Inc. would like to thank all of you for your kind support and donations.

It's important for you to know that you have saved the lives of many beautiful equines as well as enriched the lives of our inner city kids by allowing us to continue our "Pets in the Hood" program, which brings urban children to the country to share in the healing of themselves and their kindred four legged friends.

There is always a need for supplies. The high winds are a bit of a nuisance that cause damage to structures as well as fencing.

We need to mend the ranch and don't want to turn away any animals for lack of funds.

If you would like to support us further, now would be an excellent time to do so.

You may make your donation out to Corral of Comfort Horse Rescue Inc. and send it to the address above or go to our website: www.corralofcomfort.org, and use your credit card to donate with our Pay Pal system. Every penny goes to the horses and their needs.

Remember, making your donations completely tax deductible.

We invite you to come out to our working ranch anytime to see the grateful faces of the proud and majestic animals that you have saved from abuse or death.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Happy Holidays,
Elise

A pet in the Hood, though new to the Antelope Valley, has been around for 15 years. We work directly with kids that are less fortunate and participate in the development of our disadvantaged youth by actively partnering with the State of California Probation Department and Rehabilitation Programs. Kids are given the opportunity to ride and assist with the rehabilitation of rescued horses. Pets in the Hood believes this activity helps instills values and responsibilities in kids.
